Tanzania’s
commercial capital Dar es Salaam will receive by the end of 2014 3,000
brand-new buses that will feature WIFI internet connection.
Transport firm UDA that recently introduced 200 new buses to serve Dar es Salaam transport needs will deploy the buses.
It
is estimated that 4 million people depends on public transport in Dar
es Salaam, the vast majority of which rely on bus transport.
According
to Dar-es-Salaam Regional Transport Licensing Authority (DRTLA) there
are about 7,000 privately owned buses that serve the city.
